Fancy being a Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygiene is one of the countries growing professions, and one which is currently experiencing and above average growth phase. This could be due in part to the increasing number of people who are living longer and who can afford to look after their teeth and oral hygiene in general. This has increased the demand for more Dental Hygienists and for dental hygienist schools in which they can become qualified.

To qualify as a Dental Hygienist takes dedication and whilst the dental hygiene programs are not as intensive as those of a full blown Dentist, it still requires a great deal of study and effort to pass an accredited state program.

A Dental Hygienist salary is usually well above the average state pay range with an hourly rate often in the $35 to $50 range depending on which state and the practice location they are in. There is an anticipated requirement for more than 30% qualified dental hygienists over the next 5 year which makes this a very worthwhile profession to consider.

If you are a caring person and get on well with people this is also a very rewarding job helping and advising folk on how to look after their teeth and other oral conditions and prevent future problems can be very satisfying.

Taking everything into account enrolling in a dental hygienist school program, despite all the hard work could well be a very lucrative career choice. Records show that even in 2009 the highest paid dental hygienists received a salary in excess of more than  $97,000. Mark Rogers Carpal Tunnel Surgery on Both Wrists

Milwaukee Brewers player Mark Rogers, although young, has had carpal tunnel syndrome problems and has now decided, after a doctor's advice, to undergo carpal tunnel release surgery on both of his wrists, which should take around six weeks healing time.

Mark Rogers has recently been given a twenty five game suspension after he tested positive for stimulant violation.  Tested positive for the second time he was found to be in violation of the Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

The stimulant in question is unknown but it is thought not to be due to amphetamines use. Due to the carpal tunnel symptoms it may have had to do with medications needed to relieve the carpal tunnel syndrome pain.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a growing problem and in the US carpal tunnel surgery, or carpal tunnel release, is one of the most performed surgeries.

The majority of us think that you get carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms if you are a heavy computer user but golfers, hairdressers, musicians, chefs and sportsman are also in the main groups of people who develop wrist pain, numb hands and tingling hands which are all carpal tunnel symptoms.

These activities on their own and for a moderate period of time should not cause carpal tunnel syndrome but if for example you have a musician strutting his strings for hours a day and then using a computer for a few hours on top, this may create carpal tunnel syndrome issues.  Wearing a wrist brace can often alleviate carpal tunnel pain.

The development of small hand held devices has created an upward spiral of problems relating to carpal tunnel syndrome and RSIs. The main tell tale signs are numbing and tingling sensations in the thumb, index and middle finger.

Actress Julianne Moores carpal tunnel syndrome began with too much phone texting, so text less !!

Carpal tunnel surgery is normally a last resort and many seek out a "Natural Carpal Tunnel Treatment" first.  If anyone reading this thinks that they may have carpal tunnel syndrome, you should treat it as soon as possible to avoid surgery later on.

For more information and a natural carpal tunnel alternative you would be well advised to look into an amazing "Natural Carpal Tunnel Treatment"  i came across.  You can read testimonials from users and the method guarantees pain free wrists and fast results the natural way in as little as 3 DAYS,  i found this to be very informative and a wonderful alternative. Taking the proper care of hair extensions is essential for success. After the cost of having extensions fitted you must take note of the after care instructions if you wish to enjoy them for a long period of time . To avoid color fading and the fibers being damaged use more gentle products than you would commonly or use specifically designed products for hair extensions. It is advisable not to wash your hair for 48 hours after having the extensions fitted. Do not rub hair as this can create matting and tangles . Swimming in the pool or the sea can cause havoc with your hair extensions . If you decide to protect them with a swimming cap buy one made from latex. After swimming wash hair immediately to remove chemical residues from the inside of the cap. Use a brush that is designed for hair extension care. Remy Human Hair Extensions Pros and Cons

Remy hair extensions are considered by far the wisest choice if you decide on human hair extensions as opposed to the synthetic hair extension fibers . Remy hair is more manageable , sleek, thick and really looks like natural hair . Virgin Indian remy hair is particularly expensive and is in short supply .  It is totally untreated unlike a lot of Caucasian hair which is often chemically treated and therefore not ideally suited for hair extensions.

Many have questions and thoughts about the ethics that go hand in hand with human hair extensions and and are not completely comfortable wearing someone else's hair on their head.  One major concern that some have is that the human hair extensions are sourced from dead people!   We are comforted and told that , all hair comes from those that are alive and well !

This article covers the origins of Indian remy hair, where the human hair extensions are sourced and the  growing concerns of how most of the hair is sourced.

Approx 3000 years of Hindu religious tradition is behind the hair sacrifice of Indian women.  The hair is considered to be a most valued asset and by offering the hair it signifies the importance of  god over ones own personal appearance, vanity and beauty.  This takes place in the Indian temples and the women involved get nothing for their hair and they are said to be willing donors.  The shaved hair was then sold to different places and the idea was to re-invest any profits made into a number of community charitable organisations as needed.  In the past Temple hair,  as it is also known ,  was used for mattress stuffing as well.

As the years passed by women today have created an ever growing demand for hair extensions,  particularly the remy hair extensions.  The luxurious virgin human hair extensions are the absolute first choice for those with the money and celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Cheryl Cole, Kate Moss , Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson whose interest have taken the hair extension industry to new heights.

Where there is a growing market , massive demand, short supply and a lot of money to be made , tradition can get greedy and the once noble intent can rapidly become a former shadow of itself.  Is this the same for remy human hair extensions and especially Indian virgin remy hair are sourced?

At the start of the hair extension industry, temples sold Indian remy hair that had been sacrificed to the hair extension industry for around $200 to $300 a kilogram. The price commanded today is thought to be around $500 a kilogram.

The UK hair extension market alone is estimated to be worth around £65 million a year and worldwide the hair extension industry is valued at billions of dollars per year.

The women who sacrifice their hair are not paid at all, they queue up for hours waiting to get their heads shaved and one temple in particular, estimated to be one of the richest , has all the money to upkeep it - a cost of around $120 million yearly, along with other donations.

We are told that the women sacrifice their hair willingly, a lot do but many, and this also includes younger children as well find it extremely upsetting , after all they nurture the hair and rarely chemically treat it ,  so giving it up must not be easy for them .

We hope that you have found the information here of interest and are now aware of where remy hair extensions come from .  The majority of human hair extensions are ethically sourced and if you would like to find out more information of hair extensions pros and cons we invite you to visit http://www.hairextensionsprosandcons.net or read my other articles and beauty tips at Tina Frensham's Blog.
